InternetWorking2.0® is a unique Internet-based
Canadian Career and Employment Research Program developed
by Stirling & Associates Inc.
InternetWorking2.0® is designed
to introduce the unemployed individual to the vast array
of electronic tools and resources that are available on
the Internet.
Through hands-on training in a fibre-wired computer lab,
the participants will spend 10 days / 50 hours learning
how to:
* Navigate the internet using both Netscape and Microsoft
browsers
* Use search engines and conduct advanced searches
* Access public sector and private sector job banks
* Research electronic newspaper advertisements
* Create an electronic profile
* Post resumes on suitable job matching sites
* Research companies
* Send and manage e-mail
* And much more!
Each classroom has 2 highly qualified
Internet / career instructors and each participant works
at their own computer workstation. Training manuals and
disks are provided to each participant.
